History

Swiss Aid for Mother and Child has existed as a foundation since August 31, 2001.
It was founded by the association “Mamma“, with the goal of creating an independent, charitable relief organisation which always provides aid when women, couples and families get into serious difficulties due to pregnancy or the birth of a child.

The most famous window in Switzerland

The “window for babies“, which is operated by Swiss Aid for Mother and Child and the Regional Hospital in Einsiedeln, has so far saved the lives of already several babies. The “window for babies“ has been considered the most famous window in Switzerland since its establishment in the year 2001.
