Bald weniger Frauen aufgrund von selektiven Abtreibungen
In 30 Jahren soll es 20 % mehr Männer als Frauen geben, vor allem in asiatischen Ländern, wo Abtreibungen alltäglich sind.
In einigen asiatischen Ländern, vor allem in China, werden oftmals Buben den Mädchen vorgezogen. Das führt dazu, dass viele Mädchen Opfer von Abtreibungen werden. Die Auswirkungen auf das Geschlechtergleichgewicht der Weltbevölkerung werden in einigen Jahren bereits spürbar sein. Dies geht aus der Forschungstätigkeit der United Nations Population Division (UNPD) und dem U.S. Census Bureau’s International Programs Center (IPC) hervor. Gegen Mädchen wird gerichtete selektive Abtreibung durchgeführt, was zur Folge hat, dass auf 120 Buben nur 100 Mädchen geboren werden. Dabei wird vergessen, dass die Natur das natürliche Gleichgewicht zwischen den Geschlechtern reguliert und dass Eingriffe seitens des Menschen schwerwiegende Folgen mit sich ziehen. Bereits heute herrscht ein ernst zu nehmendes Ungleichgewicht zwischen den Geschlechtern auf dem asiatischen Kontinent.
